Having travelled around the world with her family from a young age, Africa was the continent that stood out the most for her. After her studies she ended up following her heart and settling in South Africa. This led to the launch of Dare to Explore in 2002. It’s the love for the continent and travel that is the foundation of Dare to Explore. Angie's top African country to visit is Botswana & Rwanda.

Klarien's passion for travel & the great outdoors started at a young age while growing up on a farm in South Africa. Klarien spent every winter holiday camping in the Kruger National Park where her love for the African bush was cemented. After her studies in tourism she explored various careers within the travel industry and settled in 2014 at DTE where she has found her home. Klarien has been creating and designing luxury journeys for Dare to Explore for over 8 years. Next destination on her bucket list: Tanzania & Rwanda

Born and raised in the small town of Heidelberg, South Africa - Wendy enjoys family holidays camping in nature. Her journey with DTE started in 2014 and everyday since Wendy has learnt a lot about herself and the tourism industry. Wendy is known for her warm heart, caring personality and delicious coffee. Her favourite destinations in Africa: Zimbabwe, Zambia & Namibia.

Having grown up in South Africa, the outdoors and being on safari have always been an important part of my life. It was therefore only natural that my love for the African bushveld turned into my job. I am passionate about planning African adventures and working with clients every step of the way to create the perfect journey for them. My favorite animal is the African Elephant ... going on safari is not complete unless I encounter one !

JOURNEY DESIGNER
Raised in a small town in the bushveld, Izandra loves to explore caves and to discover new hiking trails. Izandra is passionate about all things South African therefore working as a journey designer is her perfect career choice. She is eager to visit new places in Africa and to continue exploring off the beaten track destinations. Her motto in life is "People forget years, but remember moments". East Africa is at the top of her bucket list of places to further explore.
